Great camping and an awesome spring fed lake to swin and fish in. Almost all the sites are pull thru and easy to get in to. The math houses are clean, spacious, and air conditioned. I just we had know about it sooner! Everyone here is friendly and helpful.
Worst "RV Park" I've ever been to. It's not a campground. It's a live-in site. Most of the campers there are permanent fixtures, which is creepy. None even speak to REAL campers like us. They act as though we are invading their space. They acted suspicious of us both days we were there. The owner has a really cute office up front made to look like a boat. Don't be fooled. It's just for show. No campfires are allowed. You cannot use your own boat. You cannot have visitors unless you clear them through the office and then, it can only be up to two people for a brief period. We wanted a vacation and our kids came down to visit and share time. They were treated the same way. It was very uncomfortable. Crappy sandy lots and absolutely nothing to do there. The beach is a joke. Algae and moss washing up on it. Creepy possible ex cons living all over the park. Very poor lighting after dark, makes it creepier considering the clientele there. My wife and I hauled tail over to McIntosh RV Park. Were treated much better there and it was far more secure with a better view. It was a real campground with facilities and things to do. Please don't go to Lake Harmony if you value your safety or your feelings. The staff there are so rude it's ridiculous.
We only stayed one night, passing through on our way home from vacation. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful and the restrooms were immaculate! Our daughter enjoyed playing in the sand near the lake beach, and my husband even took a dip in the cool clear lake. We will definitely be back.
