A good mix of wetland and forest, there is a lot to see here, especially if you get out of your car and walk the trails. During the nesting season, Woody Pond is wondrous, full of all kinds of nesting wading birds including Wood Storks, Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, and assorted herons. There are also plenty of Alligators to see around the ponds. Away from the ponds, there seems to be a healthy population of Wild Turkeys and Whitetail Deer. This is a terrific place to visit for any lover of nature and wildlife.

So peaceful and don't forget your camera.
