We've been to Townsend for an extended weekend and found this B&B on a recommendation. It is an old romantic southern house with its own charm. It may not be super fancy, but whoever wants a quiet nice little cozy place to stay where you get your breakfast served in a family athmosphere you are very right here.
Each room has its name. We've stayed in the "Sapelo room", named after a nearby river. It had a kingsize bed which was very comfortable.
Passing through and found the cabin behind the manor B & B. If you can look past the construction and nearby small RV community, the serenity of this cabin- so close to I-95, will amaze you. The smell of fresh hewn wood greets you upon entrance to the cabin. Cedar, pine create the perfect zen. A fire pit is circled by handmade chairs, and ther is a wonderful screen in area for when the mosquitoes are biting. The owner is very gracious and the property was well appointed. We absolutely would come again!
